1. On 2nd April,the China Scrap Association DRI Working Committee,www.bai5t2.cn,the Chinese Society for Metals non-blast furnace ironmaking Academic Committee,and the Chinese Society for Metals Scrap Iron and the Steel Academic Committee confirmed to co-sponsored the semiar of 2013 China International DRI Seminar. And this seminar will be organized by TOWCO.The China Scrap Association and Central Iron and Steel Research Institute will be the Supporters. We are doing our best to make this Seminar as the largest conference in DRI in China,2013.
2. For the sake of sound development of China’s DRI market, we organizers are managing to hold the first member conference of DRI Academic Committee at the same time,we hope the members will Attend the meeting on time.
3. On 3rd April, Dongping County Government has confirmed to co-organized the seminar,and will providing detail data of mineral resources in the region,Inviting experts in direct reduction and related industry enterprises to feel the pulse of local resources, explore direct reduction investment prospects.
4. On 7th April, India Driect Rreduced Iron Manufacturers Association and Sponge Iron Association of India Orissa State have confirmed to attend the conference. They will organize delegation attend the conference,they are interested in the rotary kiln and the tunnel kiln,and hope to visit the chinese steel mills.
5. On 7th April,during the conference ,the Abu Dhabi gas-based DRI plant inspection will be introduced,the application of polymetallic ore and low-quality ore in the DR technique, the coal based tunnel kiln/the totary kiln/rotary hearth furnace will be introduced the Latest progress. Many iron and steel enterprises will exchange the experence of DRI production.
6.On 7th April, Midrex Technologies, Inc. decided continue to participate in the conference. On the conference they will put their focus on introducing its this year’s development of Midrex techniques as well as that of iron-making techniques. The Midrex techniques are environmentally friendly ,which meet the requirement of China’s environmental protection on 12th five-year plan.
7.On 10th April,the Direct Reduction South Center of Central South University declare his support on "2013 China International DRI Senimar" and agreed to serve as support units. the Tangshan Outstanding Science & Technology Co., Ltd., the Beijing Shenwu Environmental & Energy Technology Corp, as well as the have decided to show their support to the seminar. Besides, they all will sponsor the seminar.
8.On April 27th, China Association of Metalscrap Utilization DRI working committee issued a formal notice of second annunal general meeting of phase I.and start launch DRI enterprise survey activitie.
